Permission granted in person in October of 1999. In October of 1999 I was contacted by John and Viva Jean Johnson Outterson. They told me of some books they had written on Viva Jean's Johnson ancestors. Her Johnson lines were from the southern part of Charlton County, commonly known as "The Bend." Shortly after the originally
contact we met and they graciously gave me copies of their books. With the books they also gave me permission to republish, on my web site, anything out of the books I wished. As you can imagine, I jumped at the opportunity! They are not attempting to make money off of these books and simply hope to spread the information to anyone who wishes to have it.
