Idella "Delia", born on January 1, 1878; John Jackson, born on January 12, 1874; Robert Gay, born on September 21, 1875; King David, born on April 26, 1883; Levin W., born on March 12, 1880; and Sylvanius, born on June 26, 1887. By 1910, the family had moved south to St. Johns County, Florida, where William Tomlinson was engaged in farming. Later, William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson moved to Clay County and still later to Volusia County, Florida, where William's uncle, John Daugharty, had established a large farm and ranch many years earlier.

Eliza Johnson Tomlinson died December 3, 1930, and is interred with William in the Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Sylvanius Tomlinson William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's unmarried son Sylvanius, born on June 26, 1887, died on September 5, 1918, and is buried in the Pellicer Creek Cemetery in St. Johns County. Idella "Delia" Tomlinson William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's daughter Idella "Delia", born on January 1, 1878, married James Tillman Jenkins and they made their home in St. Johns County
and later in Ocoee, Florida. James Jenkins and Delia Tomlinson were parents to a daughter Frances and a son Tillman. Idella "Delia" Tomlinson Jenkins died July 20, 1963, and is buried in Apopka, Florida. John Jackson Tomlinson William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's son John Jackson, born on January 12, 1874, married Alma Beck. Alma was born in 1881, in South Carolina. Alma's only sibling
Martin, born in 1888, was also born in South Carolina. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck made their home in St. Johns County and later in Palatka, Florida. John and Alma were parents to A. W. "Gus", born in 1900; Stella, born in 1905; Josie, born in 1907; Freeman, born in 1909; Mary, born in 1912; James, born in 1914; and Charles, born in 1917. About 1919, the marriage of John Tomlinson and Alma Beck broke down and
they divorced. Alma Beck Tomlinson made a home for their children in St. Johns County, while John Tomlinson joined his father William Tomlinson and his mother Eliza Johnson in Clay County. Some years later John Tomlinson had a childless marriage to Catherine V. Stone. Catherine was born on May 3, 1875, in Pierson, Florida, to William H. and Lucy N. Stone. Catherine Stone's father, William, was born in March 1853, in Florida and her
mother, Lucy, was born in November 1852, in Georgia. Catherine Stone's several brothers and sisters, all born in Florida, included Jane E., born in August 1879; Etta L., born in June 1887; Mandy M., born in June 1890; Laura E., born in June 1892; and Clarence L., born in October 1897. John Tomlinson died on October 24, 1944, and is buried in the Etoniah Primative Baptist Church Cemetery in Bardin, located near
Palataka, Florida. It is thought that Alma Beck Tomlinson is buried there as well. After John's death, Catherine Stone returned to live in Pierson, Florida, with her sister, A. E. Home. Catherine Stone Tomlinson died on July 7, 1947, and is buried in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Pierson, Florida. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck's sons, W. A. "Gus", born in 1900, and James, born in 1914, made their homes in Hastings, Florida. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck's
daughter Stella, born in 1905, married a Knowles and they made their home in Palatka, Florida. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck's daughter Mary, born in 1912, married a Cannon and they made their home in Glade Valley, North Carolina. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck's son Charles, born in 1917, made his home in Florence, South Carolina. John Tomlinson and Alma Beck's son Freeman, born in 1909, lived in Palatka and is buried in Bardin Cemetery in Palatka. Robert Gay Tomlinson
William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's son Robert Gay, born on September 21, 1875, married Minnie Quigley, born about 1890 in Florida to John 0. and Susan J. Quigley. John and Susan were born in 1843 and 1870, respectively, both in Florida. They made their home in St. Johns County. Minnie Quigley's siblings were all born in Florida and included John H., born in 1892; Rusha, born in 1896; Owen D., born in 1902; Jessie
W., born in 1904; and Laura B., born in 1906. Robert Tomlinson and Minnie Quigley lived in St. Johns County and later moved to Palatka, Florida, where they became parents to a son, Shirley. Robert Tomlinson died on January 23, 1915, and is buried in the Yelvington Cemetery in East Palatka, Florida. King "David" Tomlinson William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's son King "David", born April 26, 1883, married
Sarah Jane Carter on June 4, 1911, in Sharon, Clay County, Florida. Sarah Carter was born October 4, 1886, in Florida, the daughter of William Caleb Carter and Charlotte Conway. William Carter was born on November 5, 1859, and Charlotte Conway was born on August 28, 1861, both in Florida. William Carter and Charlotte Conway were married on December 19, 1880, and made their home in Clay County, Florida, where all
their children were born. Sarah Carter's siblings included William H., born in 1883; Thomas J., born in 1892; Charles E., born in 1895: Frederick B., born in 1898: Charlotte E., born in 1901: and Julia, born in 1904. Father William Carter died on December 30, 1922, followed by Charlotte Conway Carter on November 12, 1945. David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter made their home in Clay County, later in Green Cove Springs and still later in Bardin near Palatka, Florida. David Tomlinson and Sarah
Carter were parents to Charlotte "Eva", born on November 26, 1913; Annie Mae, born on May 19, 1915; King William, born on October 15, 1917; Clifford Ray, born on December 20, 1919; Fleming Clifton, born on October 19, 1921; Curtis Raymond, born on August 28, 1923; and Sarah Catherine, born on August 1, 1925. Father King "David" Tomlinson died on September 20, 1951, and is buried in the Etoniah Church Cemetery
in Bardin, Florida. Sarah Carter Tomlinson died on May 27, 1978, and is interred with David in the Etoniah Church Cemetery. David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter's son King William, born on October 15, 1917, died two days after he was born and is buried in Union Grove Cemetery in Clay County. David and Sarah's daughter Annie Mae, born on May 19, 1915, married Carlos Kinnon. David and Sarah's daughter Sarah Catherine, born on August 1, 1925, married Jesse Cornell. David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter's daughter Charlotte "Eva", born on November 26, 1913, married John Aaron Warner on February 28, 1931. John Warner was born in Clay County on October 7, 1903, to Aaron Warner and Mary Matenthia Sweat. Eva Tomlinson and John Warner made their home in Clay County. John Warner died in Jacksonville, Florida, on November 11,1977. David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter's son Clifford Ray, born on December 20, 1919,
married Edith Stanley and later a lady by the name of Amy. Clifford Ray Tomlinson died on March 20, 1978, and is buried in the Etoniah Church Cemetery in Bardin, Florida. David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter's son Fleming Clifton, born on October 19, 1921, married Edna Feagle and later a lady by the name of Marcella. Fleming Clifton Tomlinson died on July 3, 1979, and is buried in the Etoniah Church Cemetery.
David Tomlinson and Sarah Carter's son Curtis Raymond, born on August 28, 1923, married Madeline "Ted" Brown. Curtis Raymond Tomlinson died on August 29, 1978, and is buried in the Bostwick Cemetery in Bostwick, Florida. Levin W. Tomlinson William Tomlinson and Eliza Johnson's son Levin W., born on March 12, 1880, married Willie A. "Lillie" Sumner, born on June 6, 1886. Levin Tomlinson and Lillie Sumner
made their home in Seville, Volusia County, Florida, where they became parents to Mabel, born in 1906; Eliza, born in 1909; J. Sylvester "Dink"; and "Buster" Willie. Levin Tomlinson died on July 23, 1945, and is buried with his father and mother in the Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Pierson, Florida. The following is a copy of Levin's obituary that appeared in the Wednesday, July 25, 1945, edition of The DeLandSunNews, a newspaper of DeLand, Florida. Funeral Services Held for Seville Resident Today Funeral services for Levin Tomlinson, 65, who died suddenly Monday afternoon at his home in Seville, were held this afternoon in the Primative Baptist Church of Pierson. Mr. Tomlinson was born in Nassau County, Florida, March 12, 1880 and moved to Seville in 1929. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lily Tomlinson, two sons, Willie and J. S. Tomlinson of Miami, and two daughters, Mrs. Fred
Bradberry of Hastings and Mrs. J. D. Johnson of Seville, a brother, David Tomlinson of Green Cove Springs, a sister Mrs. J. T. Jenkins of Ocoee and four grandchildren. Key and McCabe Funeral Home of St. Augustine is in charge of arrangements.
Willie A. "Lillie" Sumner Tomlinson followed her husband Levin Tomlinson in death on March 27, 1946, and is buried with him in the Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Pierson. Levin Tomlinson and Lillie Sumner's daughter Mabel, born in 1906, married Fred Bradbury. Mabel Tomlinson and Fred Bradbury made their family home in Clay County, Florida. Levin and Lillie's daughter Eliza, born in 1909, married J. D. Johnson. Eliza Tomlinson and J. D. Johnson made their family home in Seville, Florida. Levin and Lillie's sons J. Sylvester "Dink" Tomlinson and "Buster" Willie Tomlinson made their homes in Miami. Florida.
