Jackson, Clark, Bessent, MacDonell - 1801. Began by Mr. Jackson in 1801, it was completed by new owner Archibald Clark in 1802. Currently undergoing renovation by new owner - a descendent of Archibald Clark.
1936 Marker states: In this house Aaron Burr fleeing after a duel with Alexander Hamilton, and later General Winfield Scott returning from Indian Campaign in Florida, were entertained by Major Archibald Clark.
